BOAT DIVING

The ocean offers many dive sites that are not accessible from the shore. This program provides the knowledge and skills necessary to dive safely from a boat and offers the best underwater experience. After completing this program you will receive the SSI Boat Diving Specialty certification.

DIVER STRESS & RESCUE

Stress is one of the main causes of diving accidents and has a negative effect on rescue situations. This program provides the knowledge and skills necessary to identify stress, prevent accidents and act appropriately in emergency situations. After completing this program you will receive the SSI Diver Stress & Rescue Specialty certification.

DRY SUIT DIVING

This program provides the knowledge and skills necessary to dive safely and comfortably with a dry-suit. You will learn all about the special requirements of diving with a dry-suit and the correct use of your new equipment. You will also learn about the advantages of a dry-suit and the correct behaviour in emergency situations. After completing this program you will receive the SSI Dry-Suit Diving Specialty certification.

ENRICHED AIR NITROX

The SSI Enriched Air Nitrox program shows you how to plan and conduct dives safely with enriched air mixtures of up to 40% oxygen. Diving with oxygen enriched air (EAN) increases your decompression limits safety and reduces the required length of surface intervals. You will receive the SSI Enriched Air Nitrox 32% or 40% certification upon completion of this program.

NIGHT DIVING AND LIMITED VISIBILITY

This program provides the knowledge and skills necessary for safe and comfortable diving at night or with limited visibility. Your dives don't have to end at sunset, because some of the most amazing creatures in the ocean only appear at night. Entering and leaving the water, the use of special equipment and the correct communication with your buddy at night or with limited visibility are part of the program. You will receive the SSI Night Diving and Limited Visibility Specialty certification after completing this program.

NAVIGATION

This program provides the necessary knowledge and skills for safe and comfortable navigation during a dive. You will learn how a compass and natural navigation techniques work, correctly assess distances and be trained in basic navigation patterns. You also train to return to fixed points. You will receive the SSI Navigation Specialty certification after completing this program.

SEARCH & RECOVERY

This program provides the necessary knowledge and skills to safely plan and conduct search and recovery dives. You will learn more about search patterns, specialised dive plans, underwater communication and how to salvage small to medium sized objects with special equipment such as lifting bags. You will receive the SSI Search & Recovery Specialty certification upon completion of this program.

DEEP DIVING

Many exciting dive sites are located in deeper waters. Deep dives can be very dangerous without proper training. The SSI Deep Diving Specialty offers you the possibility to plan and conduct dives deeper than 18 meters safely and comfortably and is a prerequisite for your further diving career. After completing this program you will receive the SSI Deep Diving Specialty certification.

WRECK DIVING

This program gives you the knowledge and skills you need to plan and independently conduct limited wreck dives. You will learn how to use specialised finning techniques, lay a safety line and the correct use of lamps while diving with a standard or extended range equipment configuration.

PERFECT BUOYANCY

Would you like to have better control over buoyancy, minimize gas consumption or move effortlessly trough the water? The SSI Perfect Buoyancy program gives you the knowledge and skills you need to enhance your diving experience, increase your comfort in the water and get the most out of your equipment. You will receive the SSI Perfect Buoyancy Specialty certification.

PHOTO & VIDEO

The SSI Photo & Video program provides the knowledge and skills necessary to dive with an underwater camera and to use, maintain and store it properly. We want to help you to successfully capture your incredible underwater experiences. You will receive the SSI Photo & Video Specialty certification.

RECREATIONAL SIDEMOUNT DIVING

Sidemount Diving is already common practice for many wreck and cave divers. More and more divers are discovering the advantages of this diving style, such as better freedom of movement without a heavy tank on the back and a new feeling of buoyancy.

SCIENCE OF DIVING

This program provides detailed information about physics, physiology, decompression theory, aquatic environment and diving equipment. Most SSI Dive Professional programs and some Extended Range programs require this training. After completing this program you will receive the SSI Science of Diving Specialty certification.

ALTITUDE DIVING

If you are drawn upwards, take the Altitude Diver specialty course. Mountain lake diving takes place at altitudes between 300 and 3000 metres above sea level. The course includes two open water dives (which can be conducted in one day). For all open water dives you will apply the special mountain lake rules and procedures together with the diving table for recreational divers. In this course you will learn the knowledge, skills and techniques for mountain lake diving.
